Anthracite pergola over a timber deck at a family house

Four ways to roof a terrace. Each suits a different way of living outside.

Choose by how you use the terrace

Timber pergola with a bench by a brick wall

Timber pergola

Siberian larch, spruce or glulam beams. Warm, adaptable on site, at home in a garden or next to an older house. Roof of polycarbonate, fabric or climbing plants.

For a natural look, climbers and a sensible budget, if you do not mind re-oiling every few years.

White aluminium pergola with a fixed roof over a terrace

Aluminium pergola with a fixed roof

Slim powder-coated profiles in any RAL colour, glass or polycarbonate roof, gutter hidden in the frame. Maintenance-free, ready for screens, glazing and LED.

For year-round rain protection and a clean modern look with no painting.

Bioclimatic pergola with rotating louvres over an outdoor lounge

Bioclimatic pergola

Aluminium frame with a roof of rotating louvres. Closed it sheds rain, open it lets light and air through. Motor, rain sensor, LED in the louvres and heating on request.

For a terrace that lives from spring to autumn, with shade and light controlled from your phone.

Glazed winter garden attached to a family house

Winter garden and terrace glazing

From seasonal sliding glass walls on a pergola to a fully insulated year-round winter garden with thermal-break frames. An extra room with a view of the garden.

For using the terrace in November and adding living space to the house.

Set your own shade

A bioclimatic pergola has a roof of aluminium louvres that rotate from 0 to 90 degrees. Try what happens to the terrace underneath.

How it works

Enquiry

Send dimensions and an idea. We call within 24 hours and book a survey.

Survey and design

We measure, check the facade, ground and sun orientation, then send a design and an itemised quote.

Permit

We check whether your pergola qualifies as a small structure without a permit. If not, we prepare the paperwork.

Made to measure

Timber and aluminium are cut to the survey. You know the installation date in advance.

Installation

Footings, frame, roof, extras. 1 to 3 days on site, clean-up, handover with documentation and warranty.

Questions we get asked

Do I need a building permit for a pergola in Czechia?

Usually not at a family house if the pergola stays under 40 m2 and 5 m in height, keeps 2 m from the neighbour's boundary and enough of the plot stays unpaved. That is how Act 283/2021 treats small structures. A winter garden attached to the house is an extension and needs a permit. We check your plot before you sign anything.

How long does it take?

Timber pergolas 4 to 6 weeks from survey, aluminium and bioclimatic 6 to 10 weeks, winter gardens 8 to 12 weeks plus permit time. Installation takes 1 to 3 days on site.

Do you work outside Prague?

Yes, across the whole Czech Republic with regional installation crews working to one standard. The survey is free wherever you are.

Can we communicate in English?

Yes. Quotes, drawings and the contract can be in English, and we handle the Czech paperwork with the building office for you.

Send us the dimensions, we send back a design and a date

Location, rough dimensions and what you expect from the pergola is enough. We reply within 24 hours, in English. Survey and design are free and without obligation.
